The Good Guys AU Gift Card

Important information

1. In these Terms & Conditions “Gift Card” refers to The Good Guys branded gift cards which can be only be used at The Good Guys.
2. Gift Cards entitle the holder to goods/services equal to the value stated on the Gift Card or remaining after partial redemption.
3. Gift Cards can only be redeemed to pay for purchases made at any The Good Guys Store, the online retail store: www.thegoodguys.com.au and The Good Guys phone sales line (1300 942 765).
4. Gift Cards are not redeemable for goods purchased from The Good Guys eBay store.
5. Gift Cards are not redeemable for goods purchased from The Good Guys Commercial (including goods purchased from The Good Guys Commercial websites).
6. Gift Cards cannot be used for payment of credit or in-store customer accounts.
7. Gift Cards may not be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.
8. The value shown on the Gift Card includes GST.
9. Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. If the card holder's order exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the Gift Card holder will be required to pay for the difference in price between the value of the Gift Card and the retail price of the goods or services.
11. All Gift Cards do not expire. Gift Cards can be redeemed at any time, even if a Gift Card specifies an expiry date.
12. Third party gift cards sold at The Good Guys or at third party locations where The Good Guys is one of several participating retailers on the gift card (Third Party The Good Guys Gift Cards), such as Ultimate Gift Cards (e.g. Ultimate Gift Card for Home) and The Card Network Gift Cards (e.g. The Home Gift Card), will be subject to any expiry date stated on those cards.
13. Should The Good Guys (acting reasonably and in good faith) suspect any fraud relating to a Gift Card, The Good Guys may refuse to redeem the Gift Card or cancel the redemption of the Gift Card prior to the relevant goods/services paid for using the Gift Card being provided to the holder.
14. The Good Guys is not liable for any lost or stolen Gift Cards. Please contact The Good Guys immediately if your Gift Card has been lost or stolen. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will be replaced by The Good Guys if satisfactory proof of purchase is provided and the Gift Card has not been redeemed. Where satisfactory proof of purchase is not provided or the Gift Card has been redeemed, replacement by The Good Guys is entirely at The Good Guys discretion.
15. Gift Cards and Third Party The Good Guys Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase another The Good Guys branded Gift Card or another third party gift card e.g. Xbox Gift Cards, Sony Playstation Gift Cards.
16. Gift Cards cannot be refunded or returned, unless otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
